We hadden dit natuurlijk al eerder moeten plaatsen, maar: Laura, alsnog gefeliciteerd! Laura Spoelstra, lid van Foya - de fotoclub van onze locatie - haalde de derde prijs.

Jury report on the photo competition 'Europe lecture 2009'
We asked students of secondary schools to send us a photo, or photo collage that expresses their "image of Europe", 20 years after the Fall of the Berlin Wall. Since several hundred schools were approached, the jury was a bit disappointed by the fact that few entries were received.
Nevertheless, we selected 3 winners who sent in 3 nice photo collages, clearly depicting that they understand the meaning of Europe in history and in our daily lives.
The 3rd prize is awarded to Lauren Spoelstra from the Bonhoeffer College in Enschede for her contemporary photo collage depicting the use of European subsidies to foster jobs, growth and education. Her prize is a sports game for the Wii-computer.
